I’m Lisa, and this comes from a very personal place.
Losing my gran, my dad, and more recently my mum, at different stages in my life, has shaped me in ways I’m still trying to understand.
Because each loss doesn’t just take someone you love… it changes who you are.
It shifts how you see the world. How you see yourself. How you keep going.
And with each loss, something familiar disappears.
Until you find yourself asking questions you never expected to carry…
Who am I without them?
My mum was my constant. My greatest cheerleader. The one who always believed in me, no matter what.
And when she was gone, it wasn’t just the loss of her…
It was the loss of that version of me that existed with her.
I know what it feels like to wake up and for a moment forget… and then remember.
To feel it hit you in the quiet, ordinary moments.
To carry a sadness that doesn’t always have words.
To feel lost, and unsure of who you are now, or how life is meant to look going forward.
And I know how much it matters to have someone who truly understands that space.
This work comes from there.
From lived experience. From knowing how it feels. From wanting to be the kind of support I needed, when everything felt unfamiliar.
A space where you don’t have to have the answers.
A space where you can begin to find your way, in your own time.
