Beyond Grief
What you can expect from this site, and what I ask of you.
Last updated 23 August 2026
This website is run by Lisa Galbraith, trading as Beyond Grief, a sole trader based in Norwich.
These terms explain what you can expect from this site and what I ask of you while you are using it. By using the site you are agreeing to them. If you do not agree with something here, please do not use the site.
You can reach me at [email protected] with any question about these terms, including the ones that start “does this mean I can’t…”.
This site is here to explain what grief coaching is, what working with me looks like, and how to get in touch if you think it might help.
Everything on it is general information. It is not personal advice, and it cannot take account of your particular situation, because I do not know it yet.
Grief coaching is not therapy, counselling, psychotherapy or medical treatment, and nothing on this site is any of those things either.
Nothing here is a substitute for advice from your GP, a therapist, a psychiatrist or any other regulated professional. If you are unwell, or you are worried about your mental health, please speak to someone qualified to help with that. I am happy to work alongside them.
Reading this site, downloading something from it, or emailing me does not make you my client. That starts when we have spoken, agreed to work together and you have accepted my coaching terms, which are separate from these.
If you are in crisis, please do not wait for a discovery call.
This is not me passing you along. It is me being honest that a website cannot help in that moment, and those people can.
You are welcome to read, print and share anything on this site for your own personal use.
Please do not:
If you do any of that, I may block your access without warning.
Booking a discovery call through this site is a request for a conversation, nothing more. Neither of us is committed to anything until we have spoken and both decided it is right.
When you contact me, please give accurate details, and please tell me if you need anything to make our conversation work better for you.
I answer enquiries as quickly as I reasonably can, usually within a couple of working days. I am not able to offer support by email in between, and email is not a good route if something is urgent.
If you join my mailing list, you will get occasional emails from me about grief, about how I work, and sometimes about what I am offering.
You can leave at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email, and I will not take it personally.
Grief is not a process with a fixed outcome, and nobody can honestly promise you a particular result from coaching. Anything on this site describing what clients have found is an account of their experience, not a prediction of yours.
Where clients have shared their words on this site, they are real and shared with permission. Names may be withheld or changed to protect people’s privacy.
The words, images, design and materials on this site belong to me, or I have permission to use them.
You are welcome to quote a short passage if you credit Beyond Grief and link back. Anything more than that, please ask first. I am usually happy to say yes.
The Beyond Grief name and butterfly logo are mine and should not be used without my written permission.
Where I link to another organisation, it is because I think it might help. I do not control those sites, I am not responsible for what is on them, and a link is not an endorsement of everything they do.
I do my best to keep the site available and accurate, but I cannot promise it will always be up, error free or entirely current. I may change it, move things around or take parts of it down at any time.
I take responsibility for my own work and my own mistakes.
What I cannot take responsibility for is a decision you make based on general information on a website, or for any loss caused by circumstances outside my reasonable control, such as your internet connection or a failure of the platforms this site is built on.
Nothing in these terms limits my liability for death or personal injury caused by my negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow me to limit. If you are a consumer, your legal rights are not affected by anything here.
How I handle your personal information, and what cookies this site uses, is set out in my Privacy Policy. Please read that alongside these terms.
If you are unhappy with anything to do with this site or with me, please tell me first at [email protected]. I would much rather hear it and put it right.
I am a member of the Association for NLP (ANLP), and they have a complaints process for complaints about members, which you can find at www.anlp.org.
If your concern is about how I have handled your personal information, section 13 of my Privacy Policy explains that route, including your right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
I will update these terms when the way I work changes. The date at the top tells you which version you are reading, and the version on the site at the time you use it is the one that applies.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will deal with any dispute about them.
If any part of these terms turns out not to be enforceable, the rest of them still stand.
These terms are between you and me. Nobody else can enforce them.
Any question about these terms, email [email protected] and I will answer you properly.
